Venus amongst other Gods

I just finished reading a book that everybody says is similar with Da Vinci's Code. It's called Emerald Game and is written by a Romanian writer Ioan Petru Culianu. It's not so similar with Da Vinci's Code, but I found really interesting thoughts about life, love, and understanding of the world and of God.
I will write further some passage about how world and people would be without love:
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
“Now I will prove you that from all seven, Venus has a crucial role to accomplish. You know that the divine Platon says abut human beings that we are plants with the roots in the sky and that in our heads - the place of the rational soul - there are the revolutions of the planets. We are truly little universes, and this has to be understood exactly how is said, because we are made exactly how the Big Universe is made.
Now imagine all this tiny intelligent universes, which have all the aptitudes, but not the ones of love and compassion. They could generate, but the process would be painful or boring. They could talk, but not to hold a conversation, because their talk wouldn't generate affection and wouldn't establish connections. They would have republics and rules, but harsh ones. They would be able to contemplate the sky and its Creator, but without any emotion. On long term, such beings without passions would disappear, as the leafs that, because they don’t receive enough light from the sun, never become green. Without the Goddess of Love the reality would be spectral, without color and without consistence. Like the Apostle said: “Because you are almost warm I will pour you in my mouth". In other words, the Apostle says that he despises the ones incapable of strong sentiments, because they will not have a future. To say it even better, I would say that without the Goddess the world would be indifferent, predictable and without any sparkle of life."
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
I really believe in these words. I often thought what my life would be like if I wouldn't have friends, parents and in the future a partner to share my love and children. It would be empty.
Anything I do and I will do in the future, all my work, all my passion have no sense if I will not have someone to share it with. And I know that my personal life will always be first in my decisions for career or anything else.
Of course I want personal development and learning but I am sure that Love and Family are for sure 2 of my values. There is no easiest way to make an impact in society than trough your friends, your family, your child. Especially for a women, a mother how I will be, I cannot imagine a bigger responsibility and bigger joy than to grow up children that are happy, children that know what they want, have the capacity to get what is their dream, and are able to influence positively the others. Can you imagine how the world would look like if all the mothers in the world would have such thoughts in mind? I think the world would be so muuuch better.
Creation is a miracle, but for me is also a miracle to help a child to grow up, and to evolve in a beautiful human being. Someone would say that the impact in society in a bigger way can be achieved better trough your job. I agree, it's possible, and I want to achieve that also, but I don't know how yet.
What I know now for sure is that the way described above by me is a sure one...:):) Somebody will think is a girlish way of thinking, or an old one – thing that they wouldn’t associate with the women of steel :):) . I cannot say if the affirmation is true or not, if it’s old, or if it’s girlish but I have the courage to tell that no matter how it would be, all written above represent me and my thoughts. Being a woman doesn’t mean, in my opinion being equal to men…but this is another discussion…
I still have to grow up (as the title says :)) to discover the other ways to impact the society in a positive way...
What Do You Know About Love?
Starts with a smile
Moves oceans
Lasts for awhile
She turns a corner
And you lose your mind
And you think how unkind, how unkind
What Do You Know About Love?
...again Damien Rice words, not mine...

About skills, knowledge, attitudes
During the last days I had several interesting discussions about vision, values, and attitudes and generally about what do you look in one person.
Again, like I said in the other writings of mine, maybe for some people all the things I write are clear, long time established or even a little bit childish to discuss. But still for me was an important learning moment when I confirmed my thoughts.
So, it all started from one of the books that I read wrote by Ken Blanchard called in the Romanian version "From purpose to realization". I thought it will be maybe a book about how to manage your time better in order to achieve results, how to have will, and so on. Actually it is a book about vision, values, and mission and how if you live upon them you will for sure have results. I already read all of these things several times; I read Stephen Covey and other self effectiveness books. But the interesting point here was that, on my way to Budapest I started a discussion with somebody about KSAV (Knowledge Skills Attitudes Values). We were discussing about how to select a person for a position - if you will look mainly at his/her skills and knowledge - or you will look as much as possible at attitudes and values also. I know that the last 2 are pretty difficult to test, but nevertheless, I was explaining to this person how important is for me to select people based on them.
The funny thing is that after we finished the conversation with me trying to give as much examples as possible about my values and what do I understand trough attitudes - I found in the book I read the exact definition of those, and the strong opinion about how important is to have such things and base your life on them.
After this very discussion also, when I arrived at the conference in Budapest I had to deliver a training on how to form and manage an OC. Yes...of course it was written there: " you can get knowledge in 1-3 months, skills in 3-6 months...but attitudes in more than 6 months. This means that you should select your OC members taking into account their attitudes - reflected in their behaviors". :)
Yes, for me was an interesting situation to pass trough all these - but good to confirm one again my ways of taking decisions and evaluating myself.
...I would like to write more thoughts, since I am passing trough an interesting period...
I will end with a beautiful quote, in my opinion:
"Nobody can realize great things with minimal effort" - Euripide
Geani - I really feel that I grow up these days...
